DECORATIVE HANDWRITING + MY NAILS FOR SUMMER 2015
This may sound rather a mouthful but I am planning to learn calligraphy. I grabbed a piece of white paper and a black bullet-tip permanent marker and tried to make the letters beautiful. Ambitious, huh? *laughs* It was difficult that made me waste few pieces of stiff index cards but I am interested to explore this art. Life is about creating things, anyway.
Back in the day when life was so easy and simple, I used to change my nail color almost every day. I remember, one of my former co-workers always noticed them, which I thought was cool. Now looking back, I have a feeling that he must have really thought that I was one crazy, insatiable woman.
Last year, I got rid of a bunch of dried out and expired bottles of nail polish. Most of them were only used twice or thrice. Sad story, right? Gradually since then, I make it a point to keep myself from buying a new color whenever the urge hits me, and I am glad that I was able to keep that way until now.
I’ve been sporting these yellow nails from THEFACESHOP since early March. The color looks neon-ish in real life and it is more intense when I am outside of the house especially when the sun is so bright. Perfect color for summer indeed. Hoping to use this up until to the last drop before I purchase a new color.

I think your handwriting turned out..pretty 😉 Lol but I think it’s really cool that you want to pursue it more, definitely a neat idea. My handwriting is getting worse and worse since I am used to typing everything.
Wearing the same nail polish for a month? Wow! I could never do that. I change my nail color every week and I could never resist buying new colors. Although, like in your case, most of the nail polishes I have used once or twice and they just sit in my drawers. They are all organized by color though 🙂

Your pinky nail is so stinkin’ cute! Yellow is not a forgiving color on this PPP! I have gotten out of wearing nail polish for a few months now because I’ve been trying to test this new Gel polish I have that has a 30 second sunlight UV cure. Weather is finally cooperating.

I like the look of yellow nail polish on you. For myself, on the other hand, I can’t help but feel self-conscious. I already have yellow-toned skin, so I get so paranoid about looking jaundiced. lol My handwriting is incurable, so I stuck to knitting instead. :))

I also did a huge nail polish clean-out in January and whittled my collection down quite a bit. Unfortunately I’ve been on a polish kick lately buying ALL OF THE LILACS AND LAVENDERS, LOL!

Hey, I think you did a great job! My handwriting is kinda… normal. It’s not fancy but it’s not messy. I suppose that’s not too bad? My husband writes much better than I do, but then again I grew up writing Chinese characters so I didn’t have an edge there :p
You used to paint your nails EVERY DAY? Man, I admire your patience. I find it hard to sit there without doing anything with my hands for even half an hour. Most of the time my fingertips are glued to my keyboard! I’ve only tried one yellow nail polish I like from Givenchy, but I know The Face Shop does great nail polishes! This is such a happy color on you!
