#THEDRESS

Hello there, sweet gals!  Last Saturday was one of those days where my mood feels a bit girlier than usual.  I wore the LuLu*s Blanket Fort Dress ($38.00) to a convention to support my comic book artist husband.  This blue dress is one of my favorite casual dresses I own.  I’ve had it since 2011 but for the very first time, I matched it with my pair of white 2-part cleated sandals and I really love how this outfit turned out.

Also, I thank Black Beauty Hot Oil (read my review here) for my soft and tangled-free hair.  I swear to the Hatapons, this 15-peso hair product does a good job!

#THEDETAILS

Made in 100% cotton, LuLu*s Blanket Fort Dress has pretty interesting features.  The textured front patch at neckline gives me a sense of boob security.  Its front darts give the wearer a tailored look, which allows the garment to take on a shape that will fit the body well.  It has lovely floral prints in yellow, pink, baby blue, orange and white that make this chambray dress even more beautiful.  Has side pockets, adjustable spaghetti straps and hidden zipper at back.

#THEDOWNSIDE

When I wear above-the-knee dresses, I always take into consideration the places I will be going.  If it’s in a mall, I prefer to take elevators more than escalators or stairs.  However, it always depends on the situation, on the crowd, on the confidence level, etc., etc.  To add and I’ve been saying this over and over: Wearing shorts underneath a beautiful dress or a skirt is unattractive.  That’s just my opinion, all right?  So I normally disregard the thought of wearing a pair of shorts but to wear a pair of boyshorts or briefs to have full coverage in the rear to solve my madness.

#THEDEPICTION

My sister thinks that I am crazy because I set her digicam to program mode.  I have to modify the settings each time to compliment with the lighting situation of a room.  Look at what happened here + a toddler.

Do you love wearing dresses?  What’s your favorite cut and style?  For moms, can you wear a dress while keeping toddlers from running away when in public?  Hihi.
