Outfit: Piko 1988 Rue de Fleurs Dress + Life Update

Eeeep!
Eeeep!

I AM SO TAN!  CAN YOU SEE IT?

Same reaction when I stumbled upon this viloin case from wwbw.com.

What’s going on in this photo, anyway?  I am glad you asked.

I was trying to teach my daughter a new pose while I was completely unaware that my husband was actually taking pictures of me.  lol.

It’s extremely hot and humid in Metro Manila right now so it’s very necessary to stay hydrated and wear comfortable clothes all the time.

Since this summer heat has started, I only have been wearing short dresses, tank tops and shorts.

In other words, less clothing is my current fashion.

Also, when there is nothing extravagant mission that I need to do outside, I just stay at home and watch TV series.

Or go to the mall for free AC like we did yesterday.

Now, let’s talk about my dress!

PIKO 1988 FLORAL DRESS

It’s Piko 1988 Rue de Fleurs Dress in Cream (US$37.00/small size).  A very old dress that I bought over six years ago at Lulu*s.

Imagine running to the river and frolic in the sun wearing this charming, which boasts adjustable spaghetti straps and a straight neckline.  It is lined and includes an elastic waistband and a soft trim of ruffle at the hem.

Fabric is made of 100% cotton with a nylon lining.  Roughly 19″ from waist to hem.  Waist stretches from 24″ to 26″ and hips from 33″ to 35″.

It's summer!

SUMMER IN THE CITY BE LIKE

In other news, I’ve been sporting new hairstyles lately like space buns and braids — Wish I will be able to snap decent angles wearing these hair looks one of these days.  I was also considering to chop my hair into a chin-length bob like Lucy Hale.  Let’s see how far this humidity will get into my nerves.

Have a wonderful week ahead!

xoxo, laarni

  1. Love that dress definitely. I kinda want to buy light dresses and clothes as well. I think most of my clothes are good for the cold weather. Haha! And it’s so adorable that you’re teaching your daughter how to do poses. I want to teach my future daughter poses as well 😉
