I AM A PLANNER

One thing sure about me is that I hate being spontaneous.  For me, impromptu meetings are difficult to handle.  Like if a friend asked me out for coffee in an hour and it was unplanned, it will easily give me anxiety attacks.  It will also make me angry because planning is my thing, and I am certain I will say no and request for another time.  Please give me a day (or a week or even months!) to think out and prepare in advance before the party and I will definitely show up to your door!

Well, on a related note, I am going to show you how sure, exact, perfect, careful and rigorous my favorite makeup tool is.  It’s called, the Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Precision Brush.  You see, the main feature of this brush is very similar to my personality type.  Let’s take a look!

THE TOOL OF PERFECTION

The Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Precision Brush in Black (US$19.00) is the smaller version of the 3DHD Kabuki Brush, which I just reviewed here.  These two have a lot in common in many ways, however, the 3DHD Precision is more focused on the small areas of the face.  The 3DHD Precision is tagged as a multifunctional brush and so far I mostly use it for concealer and highlight application — I still have yet to discover more uses of this brush, perhaps, for contouring job, too, yes?

The Anatomy of 3DHD Kabuki Precision Brush

Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Precision Brush’s ridge is just like a type of a mountain’s ridge where it has no tilt but just straight lines up and down.  This creates a perfect angle to apply products in any form like liquid, cream or powder.  The double wedge flat surface of the brush lets the user to apply products on flat or curved parts of the face.  One side lets you apply the product and the other side lets you smoothen out the product on your skin by executing a buffing motion so you can create a flawless finish.  The sharp point of the brush provides an effortless task to apply concealer products under the eyes and around the mouth.  The abundance of fibers or the hair is just meticulous and exact.  I may be exaggerating but its bristles are the softest thing I’ve ever touched since I started collecting makeup brushes.  The handle is shiny, anti-scratch and supposed to last for years because of its very sophisticated 8 layers of paint.

THAT’S A WRAP, BAE!

I totally love my Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Precision Brush.  Sigma Beauty takes the meaning of the word precision to the next level.  However, I hope this brand is a lot easier to access.  We do have few retailers here in the Philippines but most of the time the items are sold out fast so I prefer to buy products online.

Are you a planner or spontaneous?  How’s September treating you so far?  Until next makeup brush review!

xoxo, laarni

  1. I have never tried Sigma brushes although they are easily available online in the US. This one looks really awesome and I think it’d be perfect for concealer application!

And on a planning note, I like to plan everything too. Although I have learnt to be more spontaneous recently, sometimes the best things happen when you don’t plan them and just let them happen 😉

  2. Totally a planner as well, I don’t handle last minute things well!

I’ve used the Sigma F80 and I love for buffing in foundations and any base in general. I like the shape, it looks like it could be great for buffing around the inner corners. But I kinda have to laugh about it being 3D, I know it’s a marketing thing but it is 3d by virtue of being an object! Lol!

  3. Very nice! The shape is very versatile and I don’t doubt the softness of the bristles. I’m so glad there are local stores that sell Sigma products near me. The other day I bought the new Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Glove on a whim. I was so excited to see it there I had to buy it. Haha. Impulse purchase is bad, bad, bad for your wallet!
