One Brand Outfit ft. Forever 21

THE MINIMALIST

Wearing a pair of short shorts is impractical these days because the weather in Manila has been wet for like almost everyday.  Because of that, I recently updated my wardrobe and bought a new pair of jeans — Hooray!  I am wearing clothing for legs!  Pshh.

Last Sunday, it rained so hard so I had to come up with an outfit that would make me warm and at the same time very comfortable.  It’s also funny that I was unaware that I mostly picked the pieces for this get-up from Forever 21 until I got to the mall with my dear husband and my little one.

Now, I am blogging about it.

THE BASICS

The Forever 21 Everyday V-Neck Top (Small for US$4.80) that I am wearing here has been in my wardrobe for a couple of years and it is always a safe choice whenever I am running out of options.  Solid black top is generally easy to wear and goes with almost everything.  (find similar here)

I am currently in love with my new pair of low-rise skinny Forever 21 Acid Wash Ankle Jeans (Size 26 for US$17.90).  No need to have it trimmed or repaired because it’s just perfect for my height, which is 5 foot tall only, btw.  I am lusting over its light grey color and it’s super snuggy and stretchy.  My curves approve. I love flat shoes!  We all do, right?  Check out these new Forever 21 Classic Ballet Flats (Size 6.5 for US$17.90).  I believe they are still available for purchase.  So buy them when you get a chance.  It features a small hidden wedge.  They also come in different colors.  Very comfy as well.  Just be sure you pick the right size. Btw, mini shoe trivia: I used to wear a size 6 shoe but for some reason, after pregnancy, I am now at size 6.5.  Sometimes I find difficult to get my size because not all shoe brands have the .5 thing.  Hmmpt.  Can you relate?
