The NYX Love in Rio Trio Eyeshadow in Mo Rockin Beats (P390.00) definitely has been my go-to eyeshadow whenever I want to achieve sexy smokey eyes. The three colors from this palette, in my opinion, are super pigmented. I just need a good primer to sweep the effortless blending.
I’ve always loved smokey eyes because it’s a lot easier for me to get the look. It’s undeniably seductive and without fail it makes my eyes pop and look bigger.

Knowing my eye shape, which is close-set eyes gave me a decent direction as well when putting on eye makeup. I’ve always been proud of this eye shape but I want my eyes to look a little separated with each other. When putting on eyeshadows, I likely give more focus on my outer corners of my eyes, more darkness so I can make an illusion that I am pulling my eyes apart. So I would recommend you to know yourself, know your eye shape, it will do wonders!
My eye shape might appear the opposite or might look normal in the photos because of the lens of my camera, and how far I stretch my arms to take a snap aka selfie, but when you see me in person, my two eyes are actually have a small space with each other. My husband once told me that Anna Paquin (btw, True Blood is back!) and I both have eye set likeness.
With this eye makeup look, I exclusively used the three colors from the NYX Love in Rio Trio Eyeshadow in Mo Rockin Beats palette.
Firstly, I used my fingertips and dabbed casually the matte white color on the whole area of my eyelid — including brow bone Next, I used MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush and dabbed bit by bit the middle and outer lid using the silver shimmer color, and lastly, I took the matte black shadow and dabbed my middle, outer, and v-outer lid. In between strokes, I used the MAC 275 Medium Angled Shading Brush to blend the colors. It sounded difficult for noobs but it was actually a no-sweat technique. Just keep on practicing, okay?

Cute but I probably wouldn’t use it because for some reason I don’t like blacks/greys on myself:s I would buy this if it was say beige, light brown and dark brown instead ! I’m loving the colour on your lips what lipstick is that?

I have a similar-hued palette from ELF. But it’s a quad, so aside from these three colors, there’s also a matte white (for brow highlighting, perhaps?)
