Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt a Lot?

IN SEARCH FOR BEST HAIR REMOVAL

Laser hair removal is one of the popular ways to remove unwanted hair.

For most women around the globe, unwanted hair means: Facial hair, armpit hair, arm hair, leg hair and pubic hair.

Laser hair removal is a safe, effective and good method for facial hair removal and approximately easily done compared to general procedures like waxing and shaving.

This treatment used to heat up precised parts of the hair follicle, which causes hair growth that may eventually prevent hair growth in the long run.

The effects last longer too.

If permanent hair removal does really exist without strings attached, I am sure I will be the first in line because my monthly beauty maintenance takes a lot of my time especially these days that most of my hours are consumed exclusively to my toddler, she is back to school once again and I am still adjusting.

However, I read that laser hair removal hurts a lot especially for those candidates who have low pain threshold.

It’s something like this…

the upper lip stings a little bit

the armpits — even more

and the pubic area — WHOAH!

Can you handle pain well?  If you ask me, I can’t.  I used to have a high pain tolerance to everything but for some reason after pregnancy, a simple eyebrow threading procedure makes me want to scream in horror!  Hihi.

Hairless Legs

Let’s Go Hairless

NO PAIN, NO GAIN

But as the old saying goes, “no pain, no gain.”

Therefore, laser hair removal is going to be well worth the try as many positive reviews of this method have been reported and it was proven to give the best results since its inception.

On the other hand, I am fine with upper lip threading, occasional shaving, and legs waxing for now, because at the end of the day, it’s just hair.

Would you try laser hair removal?  For those who have experienced it, how was it?

xoxo, laarni
