INDULGENT X SHOW ORCHID
What’s up, beautiful people?! I hope you are doing great! On today’s post, I am highlighting the lip colors that I have been wearing since summer has started. The sunny weather here in Manila has been making my days so bright and radiant that’s why it’s obvious that I’ve been enjoying sporting fun colors once again! I am wearing a lip base called, Indulgent from Sigma Beauty and a lipstick called, Show Orchid from MAC Cosmetics. Take a lookie!
OMBRE EFFECT
I did a subtle Ombré lips here where I applied Indulgent Lip Base to my whole lips by: (1) outlining, (2) then filling in completely. Then I layered Show Orchid Lipstick on top, mostly inside/middle of my pucker (top and bottom) as if I just ate a bubble gum. If you have keen eyes, you may quickly notice that the color graduated from light to dark. However, the dark outline especially on my bottom lip here was my natural lip color. I missed it! Blame my poor eyesight but it turned out okay, I guess.

I never managed to do a ombre lip on myself, I think my lips are too thin for it to really show.

I haven’t tried an ombre look as I don’t own too many coordinating lip pencil shades. I was going to take a short cut and buy one of the new NYX all in one lip pencils but they are kinda expensive.

I love doing ombre lips too. Usually my lip color transition would be from pink to red in the center. 🙂
