NEVER DONE BEFORE MOMENTS
Went a little bit crazy so I bought my first pair of falsies in the form of NYX Fabulous Lashes in Breeze (PHP300.00) on a whim over a week ago.
To give you a tidbit about me, my lashes may be unnoticeable on some of my photos but I have naturally thick and long eyelashes in real life and when I wear a great mascara, these lashes will look even thicker and fuller. However, out of curiosity, I thought of adding these temporary false lashes on my makeup trove and I was actually excited to wear them that night and to see if these full strips will change my life forever.

PRODUCT SPECIFICS
This uber fun-to-wear NYX Fabulous Lashes in Breeze comes in a small and skinny black rectangular box that contains a pair of synthetic hair eyelashes and an eyelash glue. Both lashes were pre-glued on the white plastic, which can be slide to the left or to the right of the box. It is expected to give the wearer an effortless application and can be reused up to 10 times.
The adhesive included is cruelty free and hypoallergenic and can be used up to 12 months after opening.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT FOR?
I think a box of NYX Fabulous Lashes is perfect for beginners like me (except for the glue!!!!). It’s cheap and comes in different fashion.
Since I believe my natural lashes are less of an issue here than it should be, I opted for “Breeze” as I thought it was less dramatic and can be worn everyday without going overboard.
Breeze has more hair on the outer corners of the strip than its inner corners so if you love going for the cat-eye with false lashes, choose this style.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COST
Let me put it this way for you: If some eyeshadow palettes come with useless brushes, NYX Fabulous Lashes come with a hopeless glue. To be honest, I thought there was something wrong with me during the application but I thought the glue was to blame for this whole situation, which was more reasonable than pointing the finger to my noob skills.
Solution: I bought a tube of Andrea Dark Adhesive for Strip Lashes, which will be talked about in greater detail some other time. Hint: I love this adhesive!
“STOP STARING AT MY EYES! MY MOTHER GAVE ME THESE LASHES, O.K.?”
HOLYSHET! That’s the cheesiest line that NYX Cosmetics has ever printed on their cosmetic boxes. Anyway, here’s the photo of myself wearing NYX Fabulous Lashes in Breeze. I thought it was pretty. I covered my other eye because it was bare and remember my first application was a disaster because of the glue and because I got no backup stickum that time. lolreasons.
To wrap this up, I am now soooo interested to try more falsies in the future. Please help me to find better, sexier lashes from different brands! I will really appreciate your suggestions! Talk soon, hunnies!
Thanks for a great review Laarni! I am a newbie to false eyelashes as well. I only tried them once! But I think with more practice I can learn how to apply them easily. Ardell makes great falsies. #110 are pretty natural looking and Karen (from MBB) always recommends them!

awww laarni. I am so sorry for not being around..Was too occupied ..family , festivals and all that stuff. But now i am back..And you know what..i also see a lot of youtube tutorials. Hey Laarni, I’m glad to hear your experiment turned out well! I almost never wear falsies because I’m not too good at applying them, also a lot of falsies are just way too much for my eye shape (feels like they could touch my brows almost)! Hey, I commend you for succeeding in getting them attached on your first try! It took me a very l o n g time to master false lash application, but I just practiced my butt off until I got it. My favorite lashes are by Kiss – they are drugstore and yet they look like a million bucks. They are the prettiest lashes I’ve tried and very long-lasting!
