How to make red lipstick last longer?

I got no issues with retouching my red lipstick — I would just go to the nearest restroom for some quick touch ups to help my lips to look spiffy once again, but when I am in the middle of a hot dinner date with hunny or a coffee splurge at ILLY’s with my friends, or whenever eating is involved, keeping red lipstick from fading is always an obstacle.

Right?  Right?  Right?

Life is so easy if you have a red lip liner.  Why?  You asked me.

Using Nichido Lip Pencil in Blaze as a dry run, I fashioned my entire lip area using this lip liner first and then my favorite Russian Red from MAC on top of it.

This trick is one of the oldest and quickest ways to make your red lipstick stay longer.

Unfortunately, the Nichido Lip Pencil in Blaze was obviously matchless with the MAC Russian Red Lipstick.  So this medium-dark red lipstick kind of evidently faded.  Although, I asked hunny if my lips still looked red and he said yes.

Anyway, I hope you get the idea of my Makeup Tip of the Day.  Until next time!
